Prayer Matters
Prayer is vital to our spiritual life. It connects us to what God is doing in our lives and helps us realign ourselves to His purposes. Prayer also helps us submit our ways to the Lord. Prayer helps us to align our actions with our values as we bring our conversation with God into our daily behaviors.
Prayer demonstrates your belief.
If we don't believe God can do anything about our situation, there would be no point in praying about it. But if we actually believe God can change a situation, it would be common sense for us to pray. God may or may not change our situations, but He surely will change our experience of a situation by changing our attitude, which changes everything about us.
Prayer changes you.
Prayer causes us to slow down and adjust our priorities.it changes the way we view our life.Prayer invites God into the moments of our life, and that changes every life experience we have. Prayer changes our life not by changing the circumstances of our lives but by changing us, which changes how we experience every circumstance.
Prayer is the best thing you can do for someone else.
Sometimes we think of prayer as the thing we can do for someone else when we can’t do anything else for them. Prayer in God’s eyes is of higher priority than we tend to give it. Prayer should be seen as the best thing we can do for others rather than the least thing. We have to keep a spiritual mindset that the things of the Spirit are what matters most. Prayer matters because it reminds us that our battle is not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12); our battle is to keep a Heavenly mindset at the forefront of our minds continually.
