Sonar Alignment

 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:14-17

Wisdom is like a river; the deeper it is, the less noise it makes.

Wisdom that comes from above does not manifest itself in a plethora of knowledge. Heavenly wisdom manifests itself in a focus of understanding. This kind of wisdom eliminates the noise of all the other matters one could learn about to focus on what matters most. Deep wisdom knows that everything in life should be done to the glory of God and that the Word of God is the foundation for all wisdom. Wisdom is knowing how to turn off the noise and tune in solely to the sonar of God’s Word. When you practice filtering out the noise and focusing on the sound of God’s whispers, you will be able to hear them no matter what is going on around you. When the Word of Christ dwells in you, it acts as the sonar receiver that helps you hear the signals God sends out. You won’t be able to hear God’s whispers if you don’t have His Word hidden in your heart. When you have God’s word hidden in your heart, you will be able to receive His sonar, but you still have to use wisdom to tune your receiver to His voice and away from the other noise around you. The deeper your wisdom, the less noise you will both listen to and make as your sonar receiver and transmitter become more in tune with God’s Word and God’s voice. As you train yourself, your sonar receiver and your voice will become more in alignment with God’s voice.

Peace is not the absence of conflict; it's the absence of inner conflict.

Peace is not a matter of circumstances, it’s a matter of alignment. When you are in alignment with God’s voice, you will have peace in your heart no matter what noise is going on around or even within you. When your inner self is calibrated to the sonar of God’s voice, you will have an inner peace that will guide you through the conflicts you will face. It’s not about trying harder; it’s about going deeper. It’s having the Word of God at the very core of who you are so that no other voice can pull you away from His voice. And you will find that as you tune in to God’s sonar sound, you will be drawn to others who also are tuned the same way. In this way, the one body of Crist is drawn together by being in tune with the voice coming into and out of each other. And as the body of Christ comes together, the sound of God’s sonar grows so that all other sounds dissipate from the reverberation of His sonar. So seek heavenly wisdom above earthly knowledge as you set your internal receiver to His sonar and turn down the noise of everything else.
