How to Share the Gospel

God gave you a set of unique talents and abilities, and He wants you to use them in a unique way. He has placed you in unique circumstances, among a unique set of people that you have unique relationships with. The Gospel doesn’t change, but the way you share the Gospel with the unique people you share it with is going to be different than the way that I share the Gospel.

The one thing that unifies all believers is God’s command to share His Gospel and grow in faith.

God has not finished the great work He has begun in you. Even if you feel lost and confused in your direction in life, you can move forward knowing that God is still preparing the path for you. While I don’t know what your path will look like, I know two characteristics that will describe your path: serving God and serving others. The way you serve God is by doing what God created you to do. God created you to have a deepening, growing relationship with Him. The way you serve others is by loving them, and you can’t genuinely love others without sharing the Gospel and your spiritual gifts with them.

The best way to stand in the darkness of a sin-filled world is to hold the hand of a neighbor while God clears away the darkness.

Too often, I want to take the flashlight out of God’s hand and violently wave it around as I attempt to vanquish all the darkness around me. It isn’t until I calmly return the flashlight to God and let Him clear my path in His timing that I can make sense of the darkness. God will always be better than you are at knowing what to clear out of your path and what to lead you through. Trust Him.

God will make a way when there seems to be no way. He will be your guide. Rest in Him.
