Why Pray 4
We will never run out of new experiences in our relationship with God. Prayer, as our primary way of connecting to our relationship with God is the way we can access an unending set of new experiences. Not only do we have our own experiences with God, but as we connect with other Christians, we get to share in their experiences with God. We can learn to trust God in our life by observing how He has been faithful in our friends' lives. By sharing God’s answers to our prayers with others, we give them examples that can help them trust God in the midst of hard times.
You should share God’s answers to your prayers with others because it gives God glory.
When Paul shared his faith experience with the early churches, many came to know Christ. When we share our experiences of trusting God in the struggles of life, people have the opportunity to see what it looks like to trust God in the midst of hardships. No believer’s story stands alone. God weaves the prayers and experiences of others into our story and weaves our story into others. We do not know many people are praying for us, people we don’t expect to be and people we don’t even know.
Part of our responsibility in being prayed for by others is to complete the circuit and pray for others as well. We can have an unending supply of new experiences in life when we pray for others and watch God weave lives together.
