Production

Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God. But as for those whose hearts follow the desire for their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord God.

Ezekiel 11:19-21

To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine.

Titus 1:15-2:1

If you want to change the fruit you produce, you have to change the plants growing in your field.

Our life is the soil; our deeds are the fertilizing, watering and trimming that help things to grow in our soil. God is the sower and He gives us a new spirit and heart of flesh, but we are responsible for how we feed and nourish our new heart. The way we change what is growing in our field is by changing what we fertilize, water and trim. If our grass is dead, watering the roses won’t help, but if we want our roses to grow, we have to prune and water them. What we spend time cultivating will be the things we see growing, and as plants grow in our field, they become more visible and clearly seen.

False ideas do not become true by increasing their volume.

Turning up the volume only increases the visibility of the ideas. Convincing a large number of people that something false is true does not make that falsehood any more true. True things are only true if they are true for everyone; false things market themselves as true for some people but not for others. When the volume of these things is turned up, it doesn’t change some true things into false things or some false things into true things, it simply shows more clearly whether the things are true or false. A bad sound doesn’t become more pleasant by turning up its volume. When the volume is turned up on those who are pure, purity increases, but when the volume is turned up on the defiled and ungodly, nothing will become pure.

You are a poem.

We are each of us a poem, but not written by our own making. For the paper cannot boast in its own creating. You are God’s masterpiece—perfection. You are qualified to preach pure doctrine. The fruit you produce comes out of your deeds. Be sure not to cultivate all of the weeds. A lie is a lie no matter how loud. The truth is still true no matter how clouded. So walk in God's statutes, keeping His commandments. Don't profess to know God and remain disobedient. You've been given one heart of a new flesh and spirit. If you discover a stone, be sure to clear it. You are a poem not written in stone, but written in flesh by God alone.
